Hi Guys, can anyone tell me where they brought the power cable through for their Amps? do you lot think i can find anywhere to get it from the engine bay to the boot!!!!!!

mine came through the the black box at the back of the engine bay right hand side (looks like the air and fuse boxes) which protects the ecu (i think)...theres about 5 torx screws holding the cover in place then it just pops off if you pull, underneath there theres a hole which goes down behind the glovebox just feed the wire down there, under the door sills and rear seat and into the boot. my cars a 1.0L so i dunno if your engine is set out different to mine or not

Cheers Craig, I knew the wiring went through there, I think I'll have to get that cover off, i had tried before without luck so i think it'll come off with a little persuasion!!

yeah it took me quite a while, in the end we had to move the battery to get one of the screws out, all worth it in the end though

Oh, and all of my wiring goes down the door sill anyway.

Ah ha, i thought i may have to move the battery, prob y it didnt come out the last time i tried. I'm gunna do it in the morning, I'll let ya know how it goes. The guys who fitted my Clifford said that i could get cable from the engine bay down the wing and into the car. hmmmm, NO! lol.

haha shoulda seen mine when my fuse blew in my power cable...went to college with my old power cable runnin from the boot to the engine bay round the side of the car (outside) :lol: til i could get a new fuse. haha cant live without my subs :oops:

same as me, why you go for a 1.0L? What model is it?

I got a 1.4 SXi and my insurance is low.

its a 2002 corsa club, went for the 1.0l cuz the insurance was cheap, dont need anything more yet really, bit of a step down after learning to drive in my dads 1.8 volvo though :shock:
