ENTERING CODE INTO CDR2005 CD PLAYER

Heip!!!
I have replaced the CDR2003 radio/cass player in my wifes corsa with a CDR2005 radio/cd player but do not have the manual to enter the code, could some one tell me the proceedure of entering the code.

I think you will need to find the manual to find the code.Im not 100% sure but i think every one has a different code.Maybe phone your vauxhall garage for advice.

According to my manual it is the following:

The word 'SAFE' has appeared on the LCD display after switching on radio.

1. Switch on ignition
2. Swich off radio
3. Press 'AS' control button and hold down.
4. Switch on radio whilst still holding 'AS' button down until a confirmation tone is heard.
5. 'CODE' should appear on LCD display.
6. Enter radio code using the preset controls 1,2,3 and 4.
7. Confirm code by pressing 'AS' button and holding until a confirmation tone is heard.

That should be it.

Need some Help! I have done what the manual says about how to enter the CODE. I turn the ignition on the switch the radio off, HOLD AS down till the Bleep and I wait for it to say CODE and I wait and I wait.........Why wont it say CODE??? Does anybody know why??
