for that money i say u get the alpine 9855r

the best unit for that price rang imo

i wouldn't b paying that price for it. i would get it off ebay or sumin, but also i want the bluetooth option!

ok..but the alpine 9855r is one of the best hu's.the sound it gives to comps and bass asre bloody wicked.even if u got standard speakers and a sub..the trebbile stay clear!

yer i'v heard it is the best and looks amazing. i am tempted i have to admit lol. Is this compatible with the bluetooth adapter tho??

and im gettin new alpine spr-17s 110w RMS components with an alpine amp, would it make a difference to the sound quality wat head unit i have??

i used to think it didnt matter bout the hu and jus depended on the comps and sub.....BULLSH*T!! lol

a good hu makes alot of difference to the sound.wit the alpine 9855r they equaliser is amazing,u can tune each speaker in the car.i have my infinity kappa 7" comps amped and with my old JVC hu and thought they sounded amazing...then i put my friends 9855r and ...omg the difference if very noticable

Widely regarded as one of the best if not the best HU manufacturers in the world. Better sound quality unit than the 9855 and has the bluetooth built. Only major difference is no time correction / crossover control.

Ugly is a matter of opinion. It's an OEM look so it blends into most car dashes better that the slot machine-esque alpine et al units. Plus the sound quality is so much smoother than the alpine.

ive got that model but without the bluetooth and its spot on, great lcd display aswel. the bluetooth is on offer at my local halfords for £180, mite be worth checking your local halfords dan
