cd player problems.

hello everyone.
My headunit is playing up. Every time i turn it on it makes a funny noise for about 30 seconds and then starts to play. This also happens when taking cd's out and putting new ones in. Also occasionally it doesn't even know that a cd is in.
Anyone able to help?
And finally. Can you wire an amp into the standard hu even tho there are no pre outs?

standard cd player isnt that good. mine started doing that before i sold it on ebay, and alot of ppl on here have the same kind of problems with it. its best just to get an aftermarket unit as ull get better quality, more power, more settings, and preouts

but your prob best getting an after market one, can pick them up pretty cheap these days
