hey all
Just replaced my l.e.d.s and took the dials off and the dial matt just to see how easy it was if i came to replacing it, Thing is now when i have plugged it all back in, My petrol gauge is flashing when i know i had petrol in my car because it was at half a tank earlier today and haven't driven anywhere,
Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else or suggestions how to fix??
cheers

Take the bulbs out NOW, don't delay. I blew an entire circuit board with the exact same problem, first the petrol light eithers stays on or flashes, next the handbrake light stays on but you usually don't notice that till it's too late. Next the entire circuit board dies, no speedo, no revs, no nothing. As of yet I haven't got it to work again and I have to give my own set of clocks in replacement.

I then fitted the same LEDs in another set of clocks and they did exactly the same, I removed them and they clocks are now ok. Don't delay, the longer you leave it the greater the chance of irrepairable damage.

It's caused by an internal short in one of the LEDs, usually the mileage display one I found.
