CDR2005 Cd Player Skips!!!

My corsa Cd player is skipping all of the time, any tips to stop it? I think it was my own fault as I tried too hard to get the headunit out, Its still in there but always skips, fine when at a standstill but on a rough road is a c*nt, so any tips etc?

the original cd players are really poor quality. mine skipped now and again, and over slight bumps in the road itd stop. best thing to do is get an aftermarket cd player as there not that much but will be alot better quality, or just learn to live with the problem as imo theres no point buying another standard headunit as for the money u spend on it, u could buy a better aftermarket unit

I have the same unit with the exact same problem, its not actually skipping it just seems to drop out for a split second randomly. This is the third one ive had from them all the dame problems. One even started eating cd's. Best off getting an aftermarket headunit
