Help with steering controls

OK purchased some quailty blue converted controls, fitted, all buttons work but volume up and down don't. Contacted chap who i bought them off and was sent a set of replacements, fitted and again they all work but lights don't light up the volume up and down even though they work to press the buttons.

Anyone hadthis problem and what was done to rectify it???

u checked the connection to the back of the headunit? cos mine was loose and for a while i had trouble with the track selection buttons until i put it in properly

if they're the autoleads one's they do not work properly with the 9855r mate.

Buttons work fine, it's just the illumination

Yes they're autoleads, yes its a 9855R, yes they do work.

It's just the illumination!!!!
