Milltek Catback Exhaust, amazing quality and not too noisey, real nice tone!

When hot the exhaust comes out almost to the edge of the bumper and looks perfect :)

Thanks to the I/C and Cat Back Exhaust along with the GTT 210 package I should be seeing around 232bhp :P

Rest of pics I took today in my photobucket album, 3 pages lol!

232 bhp in a mini is that sane lol not a fan of these but I like what you've done mate

George

Ye, its hard to get use to because with a standard Cooper S being 163bhp you can plant it all the time with no problems but when you've got 230 brake you cant be too heavy footed in 1st gear for example. You have to teach yourself how to use most of the power but without wheel spinning.

Oh, 60mph in 6th gear and then drop it into 3rd to overtake is amazing, picks up like a rocket.

Thats quality, looks great (bet it sounds great too). Have you got any idea of your 0-60 time? Also how much have you spent on engine mods (if you don't mind me asking)?

need to go get some new vids! wanna hear the new exhaust :)

George

Yea new wheels will come in time.

The GTT 210 kit cost me just over £1k. Exhaust was £444 fitted and the Intercooler was £370 fitted (show discount).

Ive got a new supercharger sat here next to me, theres nothing wrong with mine really but the one they used on the facelift MINI Cooper S's (Eaton m45 5th genertion) has got a better build tolerance and a telfon coating on the blades. This gives the standard MINI Cooper S an extra 1.5 psi boost (7bhp) but with my smaller pulley and other mods it might give me even more bhp.

Will also be getting an Alta Cold Air Induction kit (dont worry it comes with a heat shield) and a Oil Catch Can. The OCC re routes the pipes that currently vent the oil vaor from the rocker cover into a small can rather than back into the air filter, which not only coats the inside of the intercooler insulating it (not a good idea) it can also get into the cumbustion chambers and cause pinking or even detonation! Which, is what your always fighting with a Mini Cooper S.

:)

Coilovers, Wheels, Big Brake Kit is all on the list as well as John Cooper Works interior goodies but its all money and I've spent £4k modding it since April aswell as the £50 a week petrol

I drove a Mini Cooper GP the other day. **** ME was that rapid! No rear seats, Full JCW GP Kit, 1.6 Supercharged iirc. Was fun driving it.

Btw your gonna have one FAST cooper-s mate! If I had this car, this is exactly how I would want it to look.

No idea what the 0-60 is? I cant even compare it to a JCW 210bhp really as mine not only has more power but has the power lower down.

with 163bhp its 7.0 seconds, I dont know what it would be with the extra 70bhp?

the standard cooper s is heavier than the gp so putting you bhp weight in a performance calculator you get 0 to 60 of 5.79 206.78 bhp per ton and a quarter mile time of 13.88

very very nice mate!

im considering getting one of these, might wait another year tho as then ill have another year no claims etc... had a test drive in one last week and my god does it handle well! puts the corsa to shame big time, and with the power you have, nothing stands in your way!

wow mate its amazing! whats the insurance like? i had enough trouble insuring my old Ka!

George
29-08-2007, 22:28
Insurance is £1400 mate fully comp through Adrian Flux (broker) who insure me with NIG.

No video of milltek yet, probably get one either tommorrow night or at the weekend when I see my mate.

I really wanted to take it to the national meet but it was called off :(
