View Full Version : New 206 GTI Owner! Car back from bodyshop.......before and after pics!!

Having sorted my problems, I thought I had to get back into the car scene asap, and having sold Wass' old car, fancied a change. Got a quote on a 206 GTI insurance, and it was really reasonable for my age, so couldnt turn it down.

Was standard when I bought it but added a few bits and had a plan for it. Only picked it up 2 weeks ago, but was into the bodyshop on Monday for work.

Got my car back from bodyshop, after what seemed like the longest 4 days of my life. Well heres what it looked like before it went in:

Morettes (clear indicators)
Ecosse Classic Spoiler
Phase 2 Boot Strip
Full Colour Code
(Also had a griffiths quickshift fitted :) )

I think they look great dont get me wrong but I would never ever have a 206. My cousin had one for her first car and it was a crock of ****e the electrics played up all the time.

my mum had one in the same colour, i would have liked to have driven it but was too young!

was quite noisy inside tho, but loved the seats!

brilliant car mate! id suggest..... lower it on some coils and for alloys.... hmmm pug 307 gti wheels think its also same as the newer 206 gti wheels, sprayed in gun metal! ;) will look mint then! please dont go for after market alloys, i think it will runin the effort your've all ready put in!

Never liked 206's except for the WRC ones

I Morettes look smart tho - Concidered them for my corsa

lol fair enough, its an ecosse one, and they cost a bit more and are rarer than the peugeot spoilers

going for gti 180 wheels, but unsure whether to go white or shadow chrome
