OK so i hooked my sub and amp up last night but im having problems.

First of all i think my iso if ****ed as it keeps fading between left & right speakers.
Secondly i had to wire the sub up to permanant live and now have to remove the fuse in my amp so it doesnt drain my batt or burn out the amp.

How do i solve this? obviously i need a new iso, does anyone now were i can get a cheap one (that works).

Is it possible to put a isolator switch to turn my amp of without removing the fuse everytime?

cheers guys

why did you have to wire it up to a permanent live feed?

Is there no radio control lead you can use to wire it up to the headunit?

Connect the remote lead to the positive terminal on the back of your cigarette lighter, this will turn the amp on automatically when the ignition is on

lol take the fuse out to switch it off??? i had my old amp on permanent power and i just put a switch on the remote line! what year is your C??
if its 06 then it has the bmw style one and you have to wire your ignition feed manually!

its a 56 plate, yeah i wat a switch on it so i dont have to **** around to much with the wires, but i might just wire it to the cigerette lighter.
