mtx and jl?

rite was down at my local sound in motion shop yday havin a bit of banter with the guy about car audio. he showed me a 8 inch jl sub in its own special jl sub box n it was F*****G AWESOME like for all it was it sounded so much better!!but anyway was jus wandering if anyone has heard of jl or has any jl stuff in there car? also he kept going on about mtx anyone got any mtx stuff tried searchin dint really find anything??

JL Audio are a respected brand. They make some top subwoofers (the w6 and w7 most notably) and they make some quality amps and components.

prob 300 pushin to 4 not necessarily looking for a sub still hav to upgrade my front components aswell... was thinkin about getting an mtx sub...limit on components is max 150

well the 400 wud be amp n sub....but judging from ur previous price quote 900 i doubt i cud afford jl sub n amp

oh yeah i no that the guy told me how much it was for its box alone n that was over my budget so not necessarily that one.....but cud i even get any jl for that price?
