PS - My camera batteries ran out, so I had to use my phone, so that's why the images are terrible.

I have all of the centre dash done, even the top bit. Got my facia done too. Gonna get red LED's for the MFD too, and heater controls etc. They're the same as the 3 LED MFD's off the C.

Gonna replace the little speaker in the centre bit too. The sterring ones were still being done.

Well, I got some more of my ICE fitted today. Sorry for bad pictures, as it was on getting in dark when I took them, so they're a bit shaky. I'll get some better one's tomorrow! The MFD's dull, as I have one bulb in. Nearly upgraded them to red bulbs!

Cheers. I was unsure what it'd look like being all black, as the SXI's, and stuff have all black, with silver bits where I had black, but it looks nice. A lot better than the original interior, as it looked cheap!

I was unsure about getting the glovebox in the piano black too, but it fits in well.

The DVD player, and PS2's awesome with my sub/amp. Especially when playing on Tony Hawks, and you fall, and hit the ground. Feels real!

Well, that was a free mod from my mate, so I can paint my enigne things. I think any good hardware store should supply it. Failing that, you can have mine, as I'm done with it.

Some daylight pictures, with new bulbs. Yes, the inside of the glovebox does need a wash, as the powder's still on from when it was sprayed.

It looks weird, but it looked weirder with the silver steering wheel bits. I guess the wheel's a work in progress at the moment!

VXR styley

Yeah, a little. The high end Corsa-D's (Non-VXR) have the black dash too, but where as I had black heater surrounds etc, they have silver. I prefer it all black.

Haha!

I'm eventually going to do some good organized MP3 DVD's, as I done what you did, and stuck loads of songs on. I had about 1,700, and they were just in the main directory, and arranged by the track name, so to get to a track, you had to scroll for AGES.

In the end, I just stick it on shuffle, and press skip, to go to the next song. The little thing to skip songs used to annoy me, but I've got used to it, and manage to press next most of the time, rather than fast forward!

Or... I just use the control.

I started using the touchscreen, but I couldn't get the button spot on most times, and had to press it a few times before the button pressed, so I scrapped it, and it saves on dirty fingerprints too lol.

Haha, that's a great idea about the aerial. My TV doesn't work on mine. I'm gonna buy a aerial for it eventually, but the price's of them are stupid. I might do what you done though, and make a home made one.

couple of questions about the headunit if you dont mind me asking...

whats the bluetooth like can you hear people properly? can they hear you?
What outputs does it have on the back for audio?
is it alright speed between tracks (ie doesnt take ages to change song)?
oh and whats the matter with the SD slot?

Cheers. I don't mind at all.

I didn't opt for the bluetooth, as I have a bluetooth headset which I use, so I can't comment on it. Matt may be able to help with it?
There's quite a few. AV out (There's two, I think), and some others, which slip my mind. I'll double check, or Matt may be able to step in too lol.
The track skipping's fine for me. It takes a while to load up, maybe 10 seconds tops, while it reads the disk etc, but after that it's fine.
I think the SD card's just a little slow in reading, as when I put songs onto a card, some play for a few seconds, and stop, and some play for a few minutes and stop. When you play the song again, sometimes it'll play longer, sometimes it doesn't. I'm gonna try out different things, like putting one song onto the SD card at a time, and try it.

Hope it helps a little.

cool cheers mate was just wondering about the track thing as some cheaper ones take ages between songs start up time is not a problem really

wouldnt really use the SD card i dont think im really tempted by oen of these now

Yeah, I was a bit sceptical wether it'd take AGES between songs, but it's pretty much straight away.

I thought it'd be handy to have a 1GB full of songs which I like, so instead of keep changing CD's over, I can just switch to the SD card, and play some songs off there, but I guess it wasn't to be!

could be that it doesnt support the 1GB card have you tried a smaller card as i know on some devices it says supports SD up to 1gb 2gb 512 etc

well let me try an help out, i can start buy saying i love my headunit to bits and have not had any problems at all, the quality is good and it gives a wow factor. especially when it pops out when people aint expecting it! also it gives out a good little blue shine as it has quite afew little blue lights but not ott.
i dont have the bluetooth one either but brought second hand and did not have the choice, sounds like a good little thing and i would have opted for it if i had the chance. cant really comment on the sd slot either as have never used it lol.
as for the time delay there aint really one, takes about 10 seconds when you put in a mp3 music dvd but then you have 1,800 track at your fingers - however can take ages to find the track you like etc (spent 30 mins just flicking through mine today, found the song i liked then i had arrived at my destination an did not even listen to it lol.
as for the audio out cant really tell you however look at such ebay page and it tells you all on there clicky (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/7-Touch-Screen-BLUETOOTH-Car-CD-DVD-TV-MP3-DIVX-Player_W0QQitemZ200150638684QQihZ010QQcategoryZ677 72QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
hope that helps a little more but can highly recommend - you will love :doublethumbs:, so will other!
o and i warm you of one other thing, dont tell people you have a ps2 in your car or else they will sit in it all night an play on it, running your battery down lol - not that its happened to me and needed a push start lol.
p.s this ebay one also comes with a pre made iso bloke wired in an may be quite handy and would mean easy to fit!

how about inside the rear window lookin out?

That is true, unless you can mould it into a spoiler, or something somehow, so it looks hidden, or smoothed in.

I think if it's inside the window, you won't get that good of a view, and for the night mode, when the LED's come on, it'll just reflect off the glass won't it?

It's a good idea about near the number plate though!
