i think my battery is starting to go as central locking does not work untill i get EXTREAMILY close to the car, however when i charge it up using a battery charger it works from ages away.

how do i know what new car battery to get

would a new battery from a 56plate astra fit it, as i have one of these

need to check the cranking power of battery, should be on a sticker on the battery

the corsa one looks bigger than the astra one too

im not sure how much it matters as im sure people have put yellow tops in as a replacment.

any battery with at least 50A power rating will do, but bigger the better, doesnt have to be the same size, can be bigger or smaller. Just make sure it can give 50A
