Wiring Switch

Right then I have a switch with a light, and I want to know if this is right before I do it.

Just a live and negative from cigarette ligher to the live and negative of the light section of the switch?

Then a (+&-) from the cigarette lighter to the switch, and then a (+&-) from the switch to whatever I want to turn on and of?

um whats your switch look like Normally it will interupt one wire.




Say you wire a light. wire the negative to the switch then the other side of the switch to the lgiht then the posative to the light directly.

Its got two terminals for the lighting section, and then 6 others for the switch function.
