wouldnt recommend it. if your alarm is a thatcham approved one, it wont be accepted by insurance companies as being so as it wasnt fitted professionally

there a mission mate, id highly recomend you get if professionaly fitted.
i wanted to fit mine my self, but i got a bloke round to do it, god... how lucky was i, its a mission so meny wires special if you got a good alarm
i was going to tempt doing mine, but when i saw the amount of wires that need to be run, i changed me mind, gonna get it done professionally.
but yeh as Samisnake said, if its not done professionally, insurance wont accept it. They require a cert that is signed by the fitter to prove its been done ;)
