With these it says an Invertor is supplied, do I need to use these or just run them straight from cig lighter?

means that you plug them into any 12v on your car, cig lighter or anywhere, but next to the neon there is a small box which "inverts" 12V to prob 200V (ish). Just part of the cable. Think of the black box you get on laptop cables but much smaller!

So I would have to use them in the car then? I thought they may just be like for PC's etc?

get them from ebuyer. there most likely the exact same ones, just sellers on ebay trying to make a few quid
