you really arent

your better off getting a sub, amping the front comps and having no rear speakers at all.

well im trying to do this on the cheap for the time being, i was gonna keep the standard front speakers and replace the rear ones. i know that the front ones arn't that good but for the time being they will have to do. its the rear ones that are totally crap.

plus if i get new comps for the front doors then i would have to get them dynamatted and this is an extra cost, on top of buying the new comps.

ok, but having them matted makes them sound much better. thats just a fact.

if i can get these installed in the rear for the time being then that will be great.

incidentally, i was looking at these comps they were the infinity kappa 60.7cs. are these any good?

Enjoy getting to the rears!

To be fair id just unplug the rears they are crappy 13cm full range jobs that aren't up to much.

Kappas are pretty good by all accounts are you going to run them amped? you can pick upa 2 channel 350 watt amp for about £50

if i was gonna get comps then i would amp them. but right now i just dont have the money.
i actually think the standard front door speakers are ok. ill wait till i get my alpine installed then assess my finances. right now id rather spend the extra cash on some alloys.

best bet is front comps and amp them.

if you desperately want some rear speakers, just get some cheap 13cm speakers for the rears. i bought my rear speakers from a shop that did 'free fitting', so just let them faff about putting them in

so 13cm would fit without any hassle?

The speaker mounts are 13cm ones so thats what you need to look for.

13cm are the size he put in so guess they will.

Once again the search function is a mighty easy thing to use
