mfd display not working

hi, i recently put in my pioneer after market hu. The mfd dislay stoped working to an extent as expected but it did turn on stil and displa time, temp etc. Yesday i put a blue LED in my cig lighter socket. Now the mfd display doe snot light up even and is off. i want it working so could anyone advise me what might be wrong?
Could someone right a quick list for me of wat could be wrong starting with the most likely as i reali av not got a clue lol.

Have you tried the original bulb back in the ciggy lighter?

no? shud this make a difference then? i cnt see how it would?

I'l give it a try? could it be fuse even? or maybe i pulled a wire loose?

does the LED in your cig lighter work? could be a blown fuse

the cig lighter led works fine. dus this use the same fuse as the mfd then?

pretty sure there is a fuse somewhere that the cig lighter uses thats for the MFD, check in here, this will tell you :thumbs:
