My daughters car is losing water and has a soaking wet drivers carpet. I'm told this is probably the heater matrix? I can get the parts cheap enough but don't really fancy doing the job as I'm lazy! So I can work out labour charges, anyone know how long this job takes? I'm in Basildon Essex if...
Hi there, first time post. Essentially as the title says my girlfriends Corsa (1.2 Ecotec) is using a tremendous amount of oil on motorway trips.
We currently live 190 miles from our hometown and can guarantee, that if we stick to 60, the engine will be very low on oil by the time we get back
Hi folks, just got back from a trip to liverpool and notice that there was a bit of smoke coming out of the hood. I personally think that it was dripping oil out of the cap because it wasn't closed properly so I refit it but after driving it for 15 minutes I could still see it was burning oil. Here...
Hey, just wondering how the hell I would get a golf front end to fit my Corsa? Would it go straight on or what? I'm extremely into cars looking different and want to try it on my pride and joy. Please let me know thanks. X

My corsa is at 125k miles, had a engine rebuild at 119k miles in November (previous owner didn't get timing chain done and I put off doing it as i was being lazy) other than that nevrr had a problem. Would you class this as high milage on a z12xe? What milage has your corsa got?

Not knowing a great deal about Corsa's, this forum was my first step when the engine fault light came on.
Fortunately I have an OBDC reader, and could see that the fault was P0302.
Various posters advised changing spark plugs as a first step:
and after a quick trip to buy spark plugs, and...

Didn't really want my first post to be asking for help, but I seem to have got myself in a bad situation. I bought my car a couple of weeks ago, did about 500 miles in it including about 150 miles on a motorway and it ran perfectly, then one journey it just cut out. Was doing about 50...
So, bit of background, bought my first car in October (1.4 Astra), passed me test in November, and had a car crash on Saturday.
Sadly, the Astra is a write off but I'm trying not to think about it and to just move on from it.
Accident in the first year of driving means I'm not getting...
Hi all, recently bought a combo van which broke down due to head failure. Engine was unsalvagable. New engine was put in, which had a slight diesel leak from one injector. No problem we will just tighten up a bolt that holds the injector clamp down, which ended up snapped in the head.
Been off the forum for a number of years..
What's happened to the cars for sale section? Last post was Dec 2015, where are people selling modified C's now?

I have an issue here that I am trying to solve and I hope that one of you might have an idea about it because the local garage obviously doesn't.
So I got the car almost a year ago and there was a rattling noise in the front whenever I go through bumps or more rough road. It...
Anyone know what oil pressure on a 1.2 corsa is at 6k rpm. Read psi should imcrease by 10 for every 1000rpm so should be around 65-75psi I'm guessing. Also how well does a synthetic 5w30 protect at these engine speeds at operating temperature as from my understanding when constantly keeping above...
I have recently bought my first car and have only had for 10 days. When I bought it it all seemed fine (as far as I know) however 10days on and things are starting to appear and I am now worried to drive it.

Hi there I've recently bought an ex Royal Mail 1300 cdti van as an mot fail, long story cut short I bought it to keep the miles off my 320d. Anyways travelling back from the Scottish highlands I broke down and overheated, resulting in a nackered engine and a blown cylinder head. I've located an...

Gents, any of you handy at changing your own blades?
Been watching a few tutorials online. Looks straight forward enough.
Does anyone recognise this set up? Is it safe for me go ahead and try and pop them out?
After driving and coming to a stop, I put the car in neutral, lift up the clutch and halfway through lifting the clutch there is a kick. Should I be worried? This is an old clutch, no idea how old.
Our Daughters 2004 Corsa C is our first Vauxhall in the family. I had a look at replacing her aux belt tensioner and note that the car uses e torx bolts as opposed to normal hex bolts. No problem I'll but a set to cover any job I have to do on it. Would this set on ebay cover most...
I've got a Bluetooth obd2 adapter and found codes P0106 and P0108 after the engine light (engine not spanner) came on and stayed on for a long journey.

I have the standard corsa radio in my car, ideally I'd like to be able to get DAB radio and also play music from my phone through the car speakers. Am I best to get an fm transmitter, get a new stereo from Halfords or any other ideas?? If it's a new stereo is this a good idea?
I need your advise, I have a engine cam cover that is faded when I have used the sandpaper to removed the scratches and marks to make it go smooth:
