This tutorial will show you how to make your car look like its in Cars the movie. I would say this tutorial is slightly hard for a beginner, but if you know how to smooth and your good with PS its easy tbh.
Step 1. Choose your picture, I chose 59fifty's car. (Hope you don't mind :ninja: )
Had a request to do this, so thought I'd show you how I did it :D
1) Choose your image (I used marco's) :)

This is the easiest photoshop I can think of.
If you have photoshop CS5, just select the badges with the polygonal lasso tool, and fill > content aware.
Then sit back and admire your hard work.
Maybe someone will find this useful.
Right, i often get asked how to create or maintain a glossy finish on things, when applying a colour change. This technique will work on any colour, but is most effective when making something black, so this is what i'll do in the example.
This is the image i'll start with, in photoshop:
This is a very basic but effective way of making your picture look awsome!
This is a request I did and thought why not make a tutorial :D

this method can be used to change the colour of a body, wheels,...
Right in this tutorial i am going to teach you how to change the colour of your car :doublethumbs:
But a warning in advance, some cars you can't do this with because of the resolution/quality of the picture!
The first step is simply to open Adobe Photoshop.
Anyways lets start.
1. Open your image,
2.Duplicate the layer. (ctrl+j)
1. open your image,
2. select around the alloy, try and get as perfect as possible, but if u go on to the tyre it shouldn't matter as this method doesn't colour blacks.
apart from digimods this is the other great site i've found for photoshop tuts

This is a lot easier, if you can find the wheels you want to shop onto your car on another car, and hopefully at the same angle. It gets a little harder, and a little less realistic if you have just a picture of the alloy, and...
I know quite a lot of people find it hard to get this looking right so I decided to do a tutorial using my method, obviously there are other ways, but this is how I like to do it!
The first thing is to select the white car you want to shop, this is the first one I found on google images.
I thought i'd write a tutorial on how to create a bad boy bonnet. For the simplicity of the tutorial, I'm going to use a front on picture. The same technique applies for other angles, it just so happens that a front on image is easier. Here is the base:
Now, zoom in on one of the lights,...
