wtf is all this different pressure for the front and back all about? And the psi's seem way to high
Every time ive been to a tyre place they've inflated mine to 32psi all around? I asked them about different psi for the front and rear and they said it should always be the same for all 4 wheels
What if your on 17s? I usually just put 30 or 32 in all round, cant remember which one lool. I looked in the manual but it doesnt have any 17 sizes
I do have a fully loaded car most times tho so thought 36psi all round would be fine...
EDIT: Shall I drop all the tyre pressures to 32psi all round then?
As mentioned in the 9th post, 35psi for front, 32psi for back.
Ignore the comments about having all round psi, higher or lower psi other than what your manual says (adjust the PSI if you are carrying heavy loads or quite a few passengers, as indicated in your manual).
The correct PSI gives the correct amount of tyre to road distribution, allowing for even wear, optimal grip and economy. This also takes into account of your car's suspension and shocks set-up. The reason why the tyres at the front has more pressure (unless you are carrying more passengers or taking a heavy load) is due to the location of the engine and taking into account of braking. Under heavy braking, most of the pressure is applied to the front of the car (hence cars tilt forward, as dictated by motion, forces, etc... not gonna give a physics lesson here so I'm gonna stop  ), this is where your front tyres come into play.
As per users manual 1.2engine with
175/65 R14 tyres.
