    P1700 error code

    hi i have a error code P1700 obtained from my wifes 2001 corsa 1.2 semi -auto from vaux - check.
    p1700 stored tranmission control module ( tcm) service request signal
    tranmission control module ( tcm) mil request - malfunction
    i have done a search on corsa c forum and found 'P1700 SVS request via CAN B-06'

    any ideas?

    its a service reset light, so id guess it needs servicing?

    its had a full service 3 weeks ago , the error code has appeared after this.

    Take it back and get them to reset the service interval.. There is a way of clearing the engine oil service light without plugging anything in but not sure about the gearbox.
