    Law on under car lights

    as title requests, does anyone know what the law is on these?

    I want to get some but dont know if they are legal/illegal in the UK????

    they look nice I think, so you defo cant use them whilst driving?

    Isnt it something like, you can have them on as long as the lights themselves arent visible?

    i like them but thats my opinion, i have them on my c but dont use them when driving

    they are legal as long as you cannot visibly see the bulbs, so its just the reflection on the road

    also if you get blue ones and are caught driving around with them on you can be done for imitating the emergency services.....

    look good on proper kitted show cars with custom interior etc.

    so if i just got normal white neon ones LOOL will that be ok? same colour as my headlights?

    im ashamed to say that i used to have them on my old clio, however as i meet a lot of policemen and women, i asked them upon the legality of them before i fitted, however this was 3 and a half years ago, so it may have changed since then

    i used to have them 2:woops:..... but was on a fully OTT kitted car..... and i used to get pulled all the time for them even tho you couldnt see the light tube but that was about 5/6 years ago lol

    and ok thanks guys im put off wanting to get them due to most people probably thinking Im a **** if theyll see me driving haha i just thought they look nice but im well over them now haha

    dont know if its been said but they are only legal if u have a white one at front, orange on sides, and red at the rear
