Heater Blower only works on 4!

Hi can any help? We have a 04 corsa 1.0 energy and the heater blower only works on no.4.
I have already bought a new heater resistor from vauxhall and after couple of months it blew again. I have managed to get this repaired and same has happened again. Not quite sure where to go now and what is causing the resistor to keep blowing! Could it be the heater motor wearing out?
Any thoughts would be helpfull please!!

Fail no, resistor packs gone much much cheaper and easier to replace!

if the heater matrix has gone would it not leak? no sign of leaks. Bit relluctant to replace resistor again if its just going to blow again because of another fault.

    Got it
It will be the resister pack, as speed 1,2 & 3 run through a resistor, whereas speed 4 is direct.
Generally if its gone only speed 4 will work.

bit relluctant to just put in another resistor pack as this will be the third pack! will check wiring to make sure nothing is shorting out causing resistor to blow again but think that is ok. have had a squealing noise coming from blower motor occasionally?

motor is seizeing causing the motor to draw too much current which is blowing the resistor/meliting the wires
