    Rebuilding Hydraulic Lifter

Took the hydraulic lifters out of my 1.4 corsa engine.

Wanted to no if they can be taken apart and cleaned

Also, when they are put back into the engine do they need to be soaked in oil before they go in the engine etc.

you can,t take them apart, just pump them/ compress them to get rid of old oil, then imerse them in clean oil and pump them to fill them up and let them soak overnight then replace in engine , they will be fully primed with clean oil .

Manually pump the engine over a fewtimes so it has some oil lubrication before firing so it doesn't seize
