    pioneer demo mode

just bought a pioneer DEH-5200sd, instaled it and everything but everytime i turn it on... demo mode comes on, might sound quite stupid and petty but its annoying just want the radio/cd to come on straight away without exiting demo mode
anyone know how to turn it off?

    thanks!

On my pioneer i was told to sway the red and yellow wires as this allowed settings and radio stations to be saved. Also stoped demo from coming up, so radio came on straight away.

    EDITED

    1. Press SRC/OFF and hold until the unit turns off.
    2. Press SRC/OFF and hold until the initial setting menu appears in the display.
    3. Turn M.C. to select the initial setting.

This gets you into the menu to turn demo mode off. the MC is the big dial used to navigate/volume

Here is the online manual http://www.autosound.ro/manuals/CD%2...DEH-5200SD.pdf

if you have the buttons 1-6 for the radio presets, it's either 4 or 5 to turn it off. 4 turns off demo, 5 turns off reverse mode.

And with regards to your settings, swap the red with yellow. Usually bullet connectors, pull apart both and swap them over. You will have to do this as every time you switch demo mode off, it will come back on again as the stereo doesn't remember your settings.

    Any hassle pm me
nahh mate dont have number buttons onit, il swap the wires tomorrow.
    thanks anyway
