    need help! (petrol cap)

i have an 02 corsa c comfort with remote locking.

recently i lost my only set of key and have bought a standard non remote locking key.

in the past the door lock barrel has been changed and so doesn't work with the correct key, hence at the moment having to leave the car unlocked all the time.

i realised today that i cannot open the fuel cap as it is locked shut... is there a button inside the car? or anyway of unlocking the petrol cap and opening it?

the locks are getting changed tomorrow but i really need to put petrol in the car!

    thanks

There are no buttons in the car for it.
The only way is to open it using a key fob or door lock.

Does it not unlock if you pull up the door pin in the drivers door

You could try pulling the petrol cap very hard breaking the plastic pin inside it's not easy tho

This may break what the pin goes into as well on the petrol cap

Then replace with new pin and if you need to new fuel petrol cap

That's what I did with the laguna when the petrol cap wouldn't unlock with the central locking

Take off the speaker trim in the boot (side with the petrol flap) then you can reach in and pull the petrol flap lock out (follow the wiring loom from the boot side of the petrol flap

I'm in the same situation and it's easy, all you do is put the key in the door, unlock it, then do it as though youre unlocking the car again and the pin will go back making the fuel cap accessible, try it it should work

    Didnt read

His key doesnt match the door lock, so if you dont want to break anything do what grezza said and go from the inside and unlock it manually

Dont you need to unscrew it from the outside first?
