recently i lost my only set of key and have bought a standard non remote locking key.
in the past the door lock barrel has been changed and so doesn't work with the correct key, hence at the moment having to leave the car unlocked all the time.
i realised today that i cannot open the fuel cap as it is locked shut... is there a button inside the car? or anyway of unlocking the petrol cap and opening it?
the locks are getting changed tomorrow but i really need to put petrol in the car!
Take off the speaker trim in the boot (side with the petrol flap) then you can reach in and pull the petrol flap lock out (follow the wiring loom from the boot side of the petrol flap
I'm in the same situation and it's easy, all you do is put the key in the door, unlock it, then do it as though youre unlocking the car again and the pin will go back making the fuel cap accessible, try it it should work
