Handbrake Stuck

I went out today and tried to get my car moving and all i got was the car moving but it was dragging the rear passenger wheel. any ideas on how to release the brakes?

yes the handbreak lever is down.

I had this early this morning as i'd left the car for a few days, only way i got it moving was backwards and fowards till the drums release

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately they didnt work:(

Ended up having to get my next door neighbour whos a mechanic out to help. All he did was batter the drums with a hammer until they loosed off lol
Worked tho so im happy:heelclick:

that was my next suggestion but lightly tap the drums with the hammer

lol its the weather i reckon?
depends on how long the corsa c was stood still, my handbrake is allways off & bricks behind the wheels & steering column locked

yea mine does this a lot in winter, annoying as hell :)
it is annoying but all corsa's do it
