I had the same in my old zafira a it was the head gasket seal had gone Took the head off & the rubber seal was brittle/broken changed it over & didn’t have a problem again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

if it wasnt a oem chances are its that part i know they are expensive but they don't like cheap ones even tho they may work for a bit

passenger side is the power sounder alarm it's standard for the sri versions & the battery in them can go faulty or you need a multimeter & start pulling fuses till you find the one thats draining it (its called parastitic drain) video here [video=youtube;zdIKNnwEjIs]

did you clear the code(s) after fitting the new part? as above was it a original part (not cheap version)? only way to test to see if its the coil pack is borrow/buy one & swap it
