i was wondering ...

on the corsa the back brake is a drum so if i press the pedal would the front & back back brakes lock on or just the front ..

usually the front locks before the rear

its possible to lock up the rears as well. depends how hard you're braking and the conditions

both the front and rear brakes are applied under braking, as for locking i didnt see when i did it as i was driving

so the foot brake lock back i just thort it was front and the hand bracke was for the back

your foot brake is linked to both front and rear brakes, handbrake is linked to back brakes and is for when your parked up, not for handbrake turns

brakes and hand brake are on two seperate systems

there is the hydraulic system that applies the front and rear brakes at the same time

there is then the cable handbrake system that applies the rear brakes only

the rears have 70/80 and the rears take 30/20 % of the load. thats why hooking up rear discs can sometimes be a bal ache
