Sure thing mate :D

there are 4 clips that hold the ciggy pannel in place, these clip are loacated:

2 on the top
2 on the bottom

to get the panel out you will need 1 or maybe 2 screw drivers (put a cloth other the end to stop it getting damaged) and prise it out. It might take a bit of force to get behind the pannel but once you have try to ease it out ether with the screw drivers, or by putting you hand in the ciggy light plug and pulling it.

once you know there the clips are its fair easy to get it out.

depending on which way you chose to pull it out, I found mine simply clicked out with not a lot of force :D

hope this helps!

Remove the gear gater (just lift off) and put your hand underneath and press it out - simple

You'll only damage it with a screwdriver

I've just taken my cigarette lighter out to change the bulb to a Led, but it
doesn't appear to illuminate.
It's an '05 Exclusiv and hasthe spring loaded cover to it.
Any ideas!!!

Simply put your thumb in, grip and pull. It's out in seconds.

did you put a resistor inline with the led, and was the led rated at 12 v, if not then you probably blew it up
I pulled out the ciggy lighter as per instructions above, but looking at it, it doesnt
look as though there is a bulb in it to change.
Doesn't light up when lights are on either.

Like i said earlier, my lighter has a spring loaded cover over the top so
not sure whether it's designed to light up or not.

Anyone know if it's supposed to light up....Pardon the pun lol

You should be able to get one from either Vauxhall or any car shop really and just swop them over, should even find the wiring for the bulb is already there, but don't quote me on it

u need to actually have the cigarette lighter for it to light up...rather than the flap, which just charges up a fone etc!

i know cos i replaced my ciggy lighter for the flap and i had to disconnect the led wiring as theres none for it :)
