hi I have a problem a mate said a corsa I bought off him needs a new clutch .... stupidly I took the car put on axle stands etc removed transmission etc etc . and the clutch looks like it has friction material on it and the rivets are still a little away from the lining I don't want to spend on this vauxhall corsa I want to sell it. the Haynes manual says a new clutch should have new lining thickness of 7.65 mm ... so what could a minimum spec be ....any help is appreciated . thanks

As far as i know there is no minimum thickness why were you told it wanted a clutch in, was there a fault with it, if it works ok and doesn't slip as long as its not on the rivets its ok....you could by a cheap one on i supposes...from Fred in Essex.
