Hi,
The aftermarket alarm on my 02 Combo C locks the doors automatically when the ignition is turned on.

I wanted to have the option to unlock the doors, so fitted a rocker switch inside, connected to the same wiring on the van as the alarm.

However, both the alarm and switch are only able to unlock the doors with the ignition OFF.
If the ignition is on, the doors can be locked at any time, but then neither the switch nor alarm is able to unlock them until the ignition is off again.

Just the same as if the spare key is rotated in the driver’s key switch with doors locked and engine running, the driver’s door will unlock but not any of the others.
If the ignition is off, they all unlock on the second turn of the key.

Is this normal/can it be bypassed?

Kind Regards.

in corsa c spain happens the same, in fact from the insurance you can close it but not open it, and from opcom there is no way to configure it, anyway before accident it opens complete
