Hi all. Looked under my car today and coolant is dripping from underneath the middle of the front bumper. Could it be the drain valve? I opened that about 3-4 months ago to change the coolant but I’ve had no leaks up until now.

Or could it be worse like a rad or maybe even headgasket regarding information below:

Idle’s a bit rough too, with minimal white residue on oil cap which could be because of short journeys. Any ideas? Thanks

It could be drain valve. You dont want to touch that valve, to drain the coolant it is better to remove the lower hose.
About the residue on the oil cap, could be the short journeys, timing chain gasket or head gasket. Do you have that same residue on a dipstick?
