Hello everyone,
(Y17DTL)
When I got my hands on this car the termostat was stuck in open position. Almost 3 years later it's sort of happening again, but this time I doubt it's a termostat related issue. While driving below 10 degrees the car wont reach 80º, in summer time on highway cruise it keeps 80-82º, and will get to 85 if you get stuck in traffic, it will happen quicker if it's a hot day. So it looks like its working properly...The only odd thing with this car is that when you drive at -5º and you request max heat on a downhill(no throttle) if it's long enough(few kilometers) it will drop the temperature down to the "0" mark... But I've heard of other cars with that issue anyway...(not corsas).
Nevertheless right now I'm either wondering if its worth looking for a grille cover or a radiator cover, if there are any. Are there any for this car?
Or alternatively any insight with a different approach? Any ideas will be welcome.
Thank you!
