Hi i have to replace my easytronic acutators unit as it fryed.can i use a same unit of of same engine.gearbox or do they have to be coded to car .or is it plug and play.i know it needs the parameters redoing

The threads that have come up in previous years are worth reading through. Probably, this one contains the most useful input from contributors who tenaciously stuck to solving the problem when other threads tail off very quickly (it can make people just scrap the car). Hello all. The Astra problem I solved. Seems tech 2 goes directly on to learn gear box parameters, after clutch bleed, doesn't give you the chance to clear all the fault codes. So I did a full scan of the whole car, and deleted all the fault codes I could, TWICE. Then went in to the gearbox...
