Years ago I saw a CDTI with the easytronic in failure, it did not engage any gear and it stayed in 3 according to opcom, the symptoms said that it began to fail, not wanting to engage any gear and thus without more it remained thrown, and I could not put it hand to see what happened, car in good condition, today and seen another in a scrapyard, with the same fault, do the easytronic have a common fault? I imagine the mechatronics failed right?

Easy chronic and the identical Renault Quick Shi(f)t are known as systems to avoid - going back years. There are some threads here (about 1-2 years old) where 2 or 3 people were able to make some progress if the dreaded flashing "F" appeared, but often it defeats attempts to fix it. Yes, it's the mechatronics - being stuck in 3 is very common.
