This was my wife's car and previously used regularly up until early 2019 but the reoccurance of an earlier head gasket problem resulted in the car being taken off the road and has been on a SORN since this time. The car had been promised to one of our sons who, at the time, had been interested in using the car for a Z20LET conversion project. However this didn't happen and the car has been left standing untouched for almost three years. The weather has caused some damp issues. Rain has got in through the bulkhead (not an uncommon issue with Corsas) and since the car has been parked on a slope, water has drained backwards and collected in the rear footwells. The carpet can probably be restored to its former usable condition with some thorough cleaning or possibly replaced once the bulkhead issue has been fixed. The bodywork is generally still in very good condition and the car was fitted with a new timing chain, water pump and sports exhaust over the summer of 2018.
The car really is too good to be be scrapped and could definitely be saved and restored with a bit of work. It would make an ideal project (or possibly a donor vehicle) for a Corsa C enthusiast. As it is currently on SORN the car would need to be collected on a low loader.

Asking price: £250 (cash on collection)
