Had the car for 7 months now 'Comfort 1.2". Anyways ive always complained about getting s*** fuel economy, i thought well it must be me. But more recently ive been noticing it more.
Did a full tank and im getting about 26mpg :(. Before you say i was not driving it hard, mostly fourth gear 30 odd mph and motorway driving to college. Really getting annoyed at it now, as it gets no better however i drive. Im thinking lambda sensor? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Will.

when was it last serviced? tyre pressures checked? air filter cleaned/changed?

Got to remember in winter you will always get lower mpg then in summer..

Serviced a month or so ago. Did tires the other day. The car seems the same really, but if ive always had the problem wouldnt really see a difference. :/

MAF and headgasket tend to be the common mechanical reasons for poor fuel economy.

Tbf my mpg is as bad because of the amount of hills and stop starting in traffic + slowing down for the speed cams. 265 to petrol light in and around town. 362 motoway mostly/town driving. Amazing how much you lose really.

i get 350-400 miles on a full tank all town dirivng

i guess it would be less on the motorway as it would be sitting at a high rpm
