which ones? i checked all fuses.

cant be wires to the speakers can it? because all 4 have stopped working?

and how can the wires to the HU be faulty as there display for the headunit is working?

could be the wires behind the HU to the speakers, have you had the headunit out to check the connecting block and the fuse in the back of the HU (although that should be fine if the MFD is working)

 

nope, going to try takin ghte headunit out and possibly putting another in to see if thats what the problem is.


btw when do you need to know the code?

You need the code when you put your old one back in!

And it will be an internal fault with the headunit more than anything mate! just buy a new one!

Its normally in your manual that came with the car. Failing that you can ring up VX.

There is no way in this world it will be a fuse! It will be a serious problem if its blown 2 fuses at the same time on a seperate circuit.

 

if you dont know it you'd need to go to vauxhall and ask them to look it up, although if its been changed you'll be in trouble cause then you'll have to pay a fortune for vauxhall to recode it, and you'll find a much better aftermarket stereo for what they would charge.

It will more than likely be an internal fault mate! Meaning you would have to send it to vauxhall to be repaired. Unless is it still under warranty then in that case it will be covered.

 

if its not been changed vauxhall will tell you it for nothing, but you usually have to prove you own the car, i had to show them my registration document, but i cant see why your stereo would go into safe mode anyway
