I want to try resetting the learner values on my Z12XEP following a replacement throttle body.

I am just planning to unplug the battery overnight but I don’t know if this will go far enough.

If not then is it possible to reset them using an OBD2 (which I have) or does it need to be using a Tech2 via the main dealer? If the former is it easy to do and if the latter does anyone know how much it might be just for that? Also I’m not sure if they are one and the same device so apologies if they are.

Thanks.

Depends on how good your diagnostic tool is?
My Autel one does do the learn reset.
If there is a code for it now a battery disconnect will not sort it.
Your other option is to buy Opcom or find someone near to you who has it. At a guess the dealer will want at least 1 hours labour for doing it?
