Right so about 6months ago I had my cam chain done as my Corsa sounded like a tractor. Got it back and all was fine sounded like a new car, but now 6months down the line its bloody back!

I just wanted to share my frustration, but it makes me wanna sell the car so bad as I dont wanna spend £250 every 6 months on one! :banghead::censor:

its not the chain its the tensioner

its just a noise, deal with it

vauxhall used chains that are meant to last the full life of the engine to save costs on people having to replace belts every 40k

Yup agreed it is only a noise but a fooking crap one lol. had the chain & tensioner changed, Im gonna flush the engine , put some more oil in & see if that helps. Since having it changed I have done about 4000 miles, surley it shouldn't go that quick.
