If I were to remove my gaiter, gear knob and the lift up reverse plastic piece, would it be possible to install an aftermarket lift up reverse adapter if I was to attach it to the new gaiter? Or does the lift up reverse mechanism attach to something entirely different?
I’m just wondering as it seems all the nicest gear knobs aren’t made for lift up reverse systems, so it would be nice to have free choice by using an adapter
