i dont no if any one will be able to help me out but the display unit which display the time and date is completley dead on my corsa i've only had the corsa about a month would this come under warrenty ? Or am i gonna have to pay out ?

nope that's under warranty, if anything goes wrong (especially after a month) take it back to the dealer and tell him to sort it out
