SLOW BUILD AHEAD!

Contents may change at anytime!

So I bought my 2001 Corsa 1.8 Febuary 26th for a reasonable price.

On the way home I was thinking about what I wanted to change, to give it more of a personal touch/look.

My plans go something like this:

Maintain it to the best of my (limited) abilites.

Increase the fun factor.

Buy new oem front fog lights to replace the broken ones - Done!

Buy new smoked rear fog lights - Done!

Buy smoked tail lights - Done!

Buy facelifted headlights.

Buy Irmscher, Steinmetz or Rieger bodykit.

Replace the stock cd-player with a modern bluetooth capable mp3 player.

Replace the stock speakers with better ones.

Soundproof the interior.

Buy good quality 195/45-16 tires.

Buy 16" alloys.

Buy and install a 280mm "big brake kit".

Update everything brake related.

Update everything suspension related.

Paint the brake calipers (not sure what color yet).

Tint the rear 3 windows as dark as possible.

Maybe get abit more power.

Do a few laps on the Nurburgring with it.

Sounds like quite a good plan for the car, and good to see bits already ticked off the list!

About only tip I would give would be not to worry about soundproofing unless you were going for a full on loud sound system build.

Thanks, I'm only going to replace the stock speakers as they sound so bad I have to drive around without music once my car is ready to be used (I have to replace the timing belt and water pump before that happens, and I want to rust proof it as soon as possible).

The speakers themselves aren't that bad, rears are a bit ****, but it's mostly the amplifier in the stock head-units that makes the audio suuuuck

Swap the head-unit for a decent 4x50W, send your fader waaaaay back and it'll sound okay

Thanks DE5, I'll remember that, not sure when I will replace the headunit, but it's one of the next things to be changed.

I was planning on replacing te stock speakers with Audison APK 163 speakers.
