and heres one outside my workshop....

then i got bored of the black badboy bonnet and wanted it to look frsh and standard ...
so i got another bonnet from a breakers and had it sprayed the same colour ,, also while it was in the bodyshop had the handles colourcoded...

then got bored of the power..... so.......... hello c20let :) fully reconditioned aswell :)
spec of engine..
coscast head
newman camms
piper verniers
low compresiion bottom end
arrow rods
wossner pistons
oil squirter jets
z20let injectors
adjustable fuel pressure reg
stage 2 hybrid turbo
evo5 software
full silicone hose kit....
but its got a shabby rocker still lol

due 2 being a very busy man we didnt have much time 2 do the engine so it was just put in for the time being so i could get the car to longlife to have the custom exhaust made up...
heres a pic of the engine going in..

heres a pic of the gsi lump that was in there...

ooppps and heres 2 pics of the car just before the conversion....

now heres a couple of the gsi with the engine fully running...

and the car was fine until the otherday, i left work literally drove for 1 min then engine went back :(
pushed the car back into my garage ... had no compression :(
so i took the timing belt cover off to see if the cambelt had snapped and it wasnt :S
looked towards the bottom pulley and found a red vacuum hose wrapped around the crank cog,,, was sat between the cogg and the cambelt so thats what caused it to slip :(
resulting damage 16 bent valves and 8 broken guides :(
will post some pics up of this...
so currently waiting to get my head returned from a specialist..
thanx for looking :)
