I had half my car resprayed bout 3 weeks ago ! anyway as cars do they get bird **** on them, i always wash it off asap normally same day but when i do one the fresh bit it always leaves a mark and liek bumps or sumthing under it !

why is this and how do i get rid of it as it doesnt do it on the old paint

this is the 4th bodysop its been to an the work is immaculate thats why im confused about it ! took it back lst time and they achine polished it and it removed them but dnt wana keep doing that

just sounds dodgy, you sure they are stripping it and not just painting start on top of old?

To get bird doodoos off my paint quickly i soak a kitchen tissue in warm water, leave on the bird poo for 5 mins, come back and wipe off. Comes off in one sweep!

Jasons right - sometimes the birdies have been eating acidic berries. :lol:

it all depends on the bird and there ****, some is very acidic and can cause paint, and also to the guy who said that they may not be stripping it back and painting over old paint, you do paint over old paint, not every panel is stripped right back and painted!

the majority or the panel wont be painted but it will all be laquered!

If the new paint is marking still after 3 weeks then one of two things has happened:

1.They didn't use 2-pack chemically cured lacquer.

2.They did use it but it hasn't cured properly.

I know bird poo is agressive stuff but if you've been cleaning it off asap and it still marks then I'd suspect the paint.
