Yeah MM I was thinking of that but just wanted to know about the 12v ones, I can get an inverter from maplins cheapish, do inverters put a lot of strain on the car battery?

they will draw current but most good quality invertors will give you no problems..

Yeah, a huge amount at 12V actually! You would probably need your engine running while you use it!

depends on the size of the invertor you are using as to amount of amps it draws...

out of interest what screen you using with it?
