Is it possible to remove paint from the bodywork? I have some paint on my quarter panel & a small bit on my alloys aswell. Was wondering if there's any way i could remove this?

what kind of paint is it? not a make! ie, is it emulsion, gloss, hammerite?

yeh, when i got my black C wonderfully sprayed with white overspray from a neighbours house i used white spriti to get it off (and it was ALL OVER the car) lots of little white specks looked AWEFUL!!
Just becareful not to rub too hard as otherwise it'll fade the car's paint underneath. I used lots of polish etc after we did it to bring back the shine before protecting the paint and waxing it - looks great now :thumbs:

Cool, cheers guys, i'll try what yous said. Not too sure on the paint Ste, as i think it was some wee fanny near me who dropped some over it on Sunday so dont really have a clue what type it is :angry:

happend to me, got loadsa dots on the front right musta drove over wet paint

i ended up scraping every single 1 off with my nail being extra carefull.

it suked!

I tried to scrape some with my nail but didny work Will give it a good go on Friday though. Worst thing is its all over my alloy so looks ****ing stupid, red paint on a silver alloy

know how u feel, i had white paint splatterd all over blue bodywork...

lukily got it all off, been resprayed now anyway

its worth taking it to a bodyshop.. might buff off.. you dont want to scratch it or bugger your paint finish!

:thumbs: I'll give it a blast 1st! I'm selling the car anyway so i canny really be arsed spending cash on it tbh, but i'll see how it goes

if the paint below it is old cured paint then the paint ontop will come off with thinners and wont harm the other stuff!
